A mom with a mission
CONVERSATIONS THAT ARE HONEST, CANDID, INFORMATIVE – AND FUN.
Hello MamaDen,
MamaDen is a safe space where mothers gain access to interesting and influential women who are mothers themselves. It’s a community where moms can learn from, learn with and empower one another.
The challenges of being a parent – and especially a mother – in 2020 are unprecedented. The Covid-19 Pandemic has left us isolated and lonely. We can’t access our go-to communities and support systems while we are shouldering the bulk of childcare responsibilities and the mental load of parenting.
In a way, Covid has become an equalizer for mothers. The numbers behind the country’s first female recession unfortunately tell the story of how Covid is erasing several decades of workforce gains. Across professions and income-levels, women are cutting back hours, seeking fewer opportunities to advance or leaving their jobs. Just look at September when 865,000 women dropped out of the workforce compared to 216,000 men.
Now, it’s more important than ever that women have resources to connect, support and empower one other. MamaDen is where moms can do just that. I hope you'll join us.
